Mullen and Sandhills Valley were among the teams that competed at the Buffalo Bill Track Invite in North Platte on Monday. The meet was originally scheduled for last Friday but was rescheduled due to cold and rainy weather.
Among the area highlights, Alex Werner of Mullen was runner up in the boys 400 in a time of 51.87 seconds and placed 4th in the 200. Tate Kvanvig of Mullen placed in the top three of the discus placing third with an effort of 131′ 7″. Jenna Donohoe of Mullen had a top three finish in the girls 300 meter hurdles in a time of 52.03 seconds.
