Area Teams Compete at SEM Wrestling Invitational

SEM hosted its wrestling invitational on Friday.  Among the area teams that competed were Anselmo-Merna, South Loup, and SEM.  The team champion was Kearney Gold JV’s with 184.5 points.  SEM was fifth, Anselmo-Merna sixth, and South Loup eighth in the final team standings.

Anselmo-Merna placed three wrestlers in the top four of their weight class.  Jarrett Wells was runner up at 150 lbs.  Brett Olson was runner up at 113 lbs. and Korbin Druery placed third at 106.  South Loup placed four wrestlers in the top four of their weight class.  CJ Quandt was the champion at 157 lbs.  Josiah Coleman was 3rd at 120 lbs.  Dawson Mason placed third at 132 and Noah Hiatt was 4th at 106 lbs.  SEM placed five wrestlers in the top four of their weight class. Treu Moos was champion at 132 lbs. and  Maddox Jones was champion  at 170 lbs.  Clayton Scoville was runner up at 120 lbs.  Emanuel Guido-Sanchez was 4th at 165 lbs. and Grayden Anderson was 4th at 215 lbs.
