Sandhills Valley hosted its annual boys golf tournament Thursday at Augusta Winds golf course at Stapleton. Sandhills Valley was the team champion with a low team score of 385. The Broken Bow JV squad and Hershey tied for second with a team score of 402. Cole Kramer of Sandhills Valley was the individual champion with a low round of 80. Brady Haake of Sandhills/Thedford and Aaron Bartak of Anselmo-Merna tied for the second lowest round of the tournament with an 87. Others from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area that placed in the top ten were Ethan Weems of Sandhills Valley and Austin Fox of Broken Bow who each shot a 92 good for 5th and 6th place overall. Mullen placed two golfers in the top ten. Jacob Walker and Ethan Hardin each shot a 97 which was tied for the 8th best round of the day.
