Area Teams Compete at Ord Boys Golf Invite

Ord hosted its annual boys golf invite on Wednesday.  The 18 hole tournament was won by St. Paul with a low team score of 288.  Ord was second with a 309, GICC was third with a 313, and Broken Bow was fourth with a 320.  Broken Bow placed two golfers in the top ten.  Jack White was 6th with a round of 74 and Adrian Gibbons was tenth with a round of 76.  Other varsity scores for Broken Bow included Bowen Ridder – 83, Kanzas Kellum – 87, and Zach Jackson – 89.  Three players finished with a round of 70 which was the low round of the tournament.  Following the tie break criteria, Maddox Quinn of St. Paul was first, Jack Alberts of GICC was second, and Beau Paro of St. Paul was third.

In other area notes, Arcadia/Loup City finished with a 380 team score.  The Rebels were led by Kale Dorsey who finished two shots outside the top 15 with a round of 82.  Burwell finished with a 364 team score.  The Longhorns were led  by Kason Larson who finished with a round of 84.
