Central Valley held its wrestling invitational on Friday. Among the area teams that competed were Anselmo-Merna, Mullen, SEM, and South Loup. Aquinas Catholic of David City was the team champion with 168 points followed by Central Valley as the runner up.
Among the area highlights, Dawson Mason of South Loup was champion at 132 lbs. Jarrett Wells of Anselmo-Merna was 3rd at 150 lbs. At 157 lbs. Jason Kraus of Mullen was third and C.J. Quandt of South Loup placed 4th. Maddox Jones of SEM was champion at 175 lbs. Tate Kvanvig of Mullen was runner up at 215 lbs.
