Area Teams Compete at Ainsworth Girls Wrestling Invite – SEM Finishes Third Followed by Broken Bow in Fourth

Area teams competed at the Ainsworth girls wrestling invite on Friday.  Valentine was the team champion with 92.5 points followed by West Holt in second 76.5.  SEM placed third in the team standings with 70 points followed by Broken Bow in fourth with 68.  Among the area highlights, SEM had two individual champions.  Olivia McDonald was champion at 120 lbs. and Ellie Scoville was champion at 155.  SEM also picked up a runner up finish from Lily Hrasky at 125 lbs.  Broken Bow was paced by runner up finishes from Zoe Jones at 115, Stayci Medina Lopez at 170, and Ida Bumgarner at 190 lbs.  Other area highlights included Rylee Kursave of Arcadia/Loup City claiming the title at 170 lbs.
