Today’s KBBN area 8 man football game of the week will take place in Litchfield as the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans host the Twin Loup Wolves. Ansley/Litchfield looks to bounce back after a tough loss on the road at Burwell last week. Sometimes there can be a fine line between winning and losing. The Spartans have been walking that line with close losses to Anselmo-Merna and Burwell this season. A/L head coach Kurt Kulhanek visited with KCNI/KBBN sports and talked about the keys to crossing the line and end up on the winning side.
It’s been a great first half of the season for Twin Loup. The sports co-op between Sargent and Loup County/Taylor is 3-1 this season which is more wins than the Wolves have enjoyed in the last two years combined. Longtime head coach Mike Kozeal told KCNI/KBBN sports that he is proud of the way the players have worked hard to improve.
