The Broken Bow girls basketball team fell to top seed Gothenburg Thursday night at the C1-11 sub district final 57-31. MaKinley Tobey finished with 9 points to lead the Indians with Halle McCaslin, Janae Marten, and Gaby Staples all finishing with 7 points each. Gothenburg had three players finish in double figures led by Kynlee Strauser who had a game high 14. With the win, Gothenburg advances to the district finals next week.
Sandhills/Thedford fell to Pleasanton in the D2-7 sub district final at Sandhills High School in Dunning 71-56. S/T had three players finish in double figures led by Tenley Rasmussen who finished with a game high 18 points. Laney Dahlberg finished with 15 points and Dayle Haake had 10 for the Lady Knights. With the win, Pleasanton advances to the district finals.
Mullen faced Hay Springs Thursday night for the D2-12 sub district championship. Hay Springs came out on top 44-34.
