Several area boys golf teams competed at the Mullen Invitational on Wednesday. Sandhills Valley was the team champion with a low score of 346. South Loup was second with a 360 and Mullen was third with a 365. Cole Kramer of Sandhills Valley was the individual champion with a low round of 78. Brady Haake of Sandhills/Thedford was runner up with an 81 and Colin Cooksley of Anselmo-Merna was third with an 83. The rest of the top ten included Joey Sallach of South Loup 4th (85), Ethan Hardin of Mullen 5th (86), Jacob Walker of Mullen 6th (87), Aaron Bartak of Anselmo-Merna 7th (87), Ethan Weems of Sandhills Valley 8th (87), Dawson Doggett of South Loup 9th (88), and Kyle Kramer of Sandhills Valley was 10th (90).
The Broken Bow JV’s finished 4th in the team standings and were led by Gavin Carrizales who shot a team low 93.

Anselmo-Merna was among the teams that competed Monday (5/8) at the Highway 20 boys golf invite hosted by North Central. AM finished 8th in the team standings with a 392 and were led by Aaron Bartak who finished fifth in the individual standings with an 83.
