Several area basketball and wrestling teams will be in action on Friday.
On the basketball court, Anselmo-Merna is hosting a girls and boys double header. After having their games against South Loup postponed Thursday, Ansley/Litchfield takes to the road to face Overton. Broken Bow is back in action tonight hosting Valentine. Arcadia/Loup City is hosting Ravenna for girls and boys action. The Mullen Broncos are welcoming Gordon-Rushville to the hardwood, while Sumner-Eddyville-Miller will also play host to Silver Lake for two matchups featuring four above-.500 teams. Lots of eyes will be on the girls contest, which sees Silver Lake bringing their 10-2 record to Sumner against the 12-1 Mustangs.
On the mat, several area teams will be in action at the South Loup Invite, including Ansley/Litchfield, Mullen, Sandhills Valley, Sandhills/Thedford, S-E-M, Twin Loup, and the host Bobcats.
