Area Athletes to Compete in New West All Star Games

The New West All Star Classic is scheduled to take place this week in Minden.  The annual event helps benefit the Nebraska Kidney Association.  The All-Star volleyball games are scheduled for Wednesday with the All-Star basketball games scheduled for Thursday.  The All-Star Classic features recent graduates who played for teams making up the following conferences, Fort Kearny Conference, Republican Plains Activity Conference, Lou-Platte Conference, and Southwest Conference.

This year’s games will once again have a strong representation from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area.

Area athletes scheduled to compete in the All-Star volleyball classic include
Taryn Arbuthnot and Jacelyn Hoos of SEM and Caydence Feldman of Ansley/Litchfield representing the Fort Kearny Conference
Jillian Hurlburt of Arcadia/Loup City representing the Lou-Platte Conference
Izabelle Tibbs and Olivia Neely of Broken Bow along with Halsey Thomalla and Lindly Anderson of Gothenburg representing the Southwest Conference

Area athletes scheduled to compete in the All-Star girls basketball classic include
Taryn Arbuthnot and Jacelyn Hoos of SEM representing the Fort Kearny Conference
Charlee Myers of Broken Bow along with Aubry Hall, Ellie Wyatt, Halsey Thomalla, and Lindly Anderson of Gothenburg representing the Southwest Conference

Area athletes scheduled to compete in the All-Star boys basketball classic include
Owen Cunningham of Ansley/Litchfield along with Chance Daake, Isaac O’Neil, and Preston Beattie of SEM representing the Fort Kearny Conference
Ryan Kaslon of Arcadia/Loup City representing the Lou-Platte Conference
Dominic Nowak of Broken Bow / Chayden Hoffmaster, Olliver Davis, and Gage Strauss of Cozad / Boone Tederman and Landon Mroczek of Gothenburg representing the Southwest Conference.
