A handful of area athletes have been chosen to compete at this summer’s Sertoma 8 man football all star classic. Helping represent the West team at this year’s all star game will be Cooper Slingby of Ansley/Litchfield, Carter Johnson of Anselmo-Merna, Reece Zutavern of Sandhills/Thedford, Caleb Busch and Carter Mann of Burwell. Sandhills/Thedford head coach Josh Deines will be a member of the West team coaching staff. This summer’s contest is scheduled for June 18th in Hastings.
