Rosters have been released for this summer’s Sertoma 8 man all star football game which will take place in Hastings. The West squad will be coached this year by Twin Loup head coach Mike Kozeal. His coaching staff will include Zane Young of Twin Loup, Chip Bartos of Central Valley, and Brendan Geier of Perkins County.
The game will feature graduating seniors who were among the best in the state this past season in Nebraska 8 man football. The KCNI/KBBN coverage area is well represented with several area athletes chosen to compete for the west team. Area athletes selected to play in the game include:
Quincy Ryker – Twin Loup
Trey Connell – South Loup
Chase Gracey – Mullen
Quinten Myers – Anselmo-Merna
Zeb Wilde – Sandhills/Thedford
Joey Sallach – South Loup
Rhett McFadden – Sandhills/Thedford
The East squad will be coached this year by Mitch Shepard of Thayer Central, Lance Steffen of Elmwood Murdock, Cody Volk of Pender and Clint Havel of Thayer Central.
This year’s 8 man all star game is scheduled for June 15th.
