Ord hosted its annual cross country invitational on Friday.
Ord won the boys team championship with Gibbon finishing as the runner up. The boys individual champion was Drew Martin of West Holt in a winning time of 17:20.28. Sandhills/Thedford placed two runners in the top 15. Connor Sutton finished 10th (18:55.08) and Brody Stengel was 11th (19:08.10). Everett Funk of Twin Loup placed in the top 20 finishing 17th (19:24.69). Other area highlights included Domanik Barnes as the top finisher Arcadia/Loup City placing 25th and Kolten Clay of Ansley/Litchfield led the Spartans coming in 30th overall.
Ainsworth won the girls team champion. The girls individual champion was Katherine Kerrigan of Ainsworth in a winning time of 19:38.10. Area highlights included Addie Rohde of Ansley/Litchfield finishing 26th. Miah Handley of Twin Loup was 28th and Arcadia/Loup City placed two runners in the top 30 as Kelbi Martin placed 29th followed by Ella Rice in 30th.
