Gibbon hosted the Ron Priebe cross country invitational on Thursday. Central City won the boys team championship followed by Amherst in second. Amherst won the girls team title followed by Bertrand in second.
The top area highlight came in the boys race where Dutch Miller of Arcadia/Loup City was the boys individual champion in a winning time of 17:37.9. Carter Schmidt of ALC finished in the top twenty placing 20th (22:43.3). For full results of the boys race click here.
In the girls race, Ansley/Litchfield’s Bayler Clay finished in the top 15 placing 12th in a time of 26:15.6. Qualea Scott of Arcadia/Loup City finished in the top 20 placing 19th (28:21.8).
