Anselmo-Merna claimed the team title at the Neligh-Oakdale wrestling invitational on Saturday. AM won the team title with 178 points. Elkhorn Valley was runner up with 156 points. The Coyotes were led by Tristan Olson and Sid Miller who each placed first in their weight class. Olson was champion at 113 lbs. and Miller was champion at 195 lbs. Anselmo-Merna had five others place in the top four of their weight class. Tyce Porter was runner up at 145 lbs. and Sam McMillan was runner up at 182. Jarrett Wells was third at 132 lbs., Jadon Wells was fourth at 152, and Tayte Thornton was third at 220 lbs.

Mullen also competed at the meet. Highlights for the Broncos included Eli Paxton winning the championship at 126 lbs. Chase Gracey was runner up at 170 lbs., Tate Kvanvig was third at 182, Tel Kvanvig was 4th at 220 lbs. and Isaac Welch was champion at 285.
