Anselmo-Merna Wrestling Invite Results – Area Recap

Anselmo-Merna hosted its boys wrestling invitational on Saturday. Elm Creek was the team champion with 143 points and the Grand Island JV’s finished as the runner up. Arcadia/Loup City finished in the top five placing fourth in the team standings.

ALC had three individual champions. Hudson Obermiller was champion at 144 lbs. Joseph Ducker was champion at 175 lbs. and Wyatt Stieb was champion at 285.

Anselmo-Merna had four runners up. Brett Olson was runner up at 113 lbs. Jarrett Wells was runner up at 150, Jackson Christen runner up at 175, and Tatum Seevers was runner up at 190.

South Loup placed three wrestlers in the top four of their weight class. Josiah Coleman was runner up at 120 lbs. Jacob King was fourth at 157 and Blake Robertson was fourth at 175.

SEM placed two wrestlers in the top four of their weight class. Choncey Freeman was fourth at 113 lbs. and Heath Henson was 3rd at 165 lbs.
