Anselmo-Merna Wins Home Wrestling Invite / Twin Loup Runner-Up

The Anselmo-Merna wrestling team claimed the team championship at its home invite on Saturday. The Coyotes won the title with 151 points and Twin Loup was team runner-up with 120 points. South Loup (4th) and Arcadia/Loup City (5th) also finished in the top five. AM claimed four individual titles on the day including Tristan Olson champion at 113 lbs., Jarrett Wells champion at 132, Sam McMillan champion at 182, and Sid Miller was the champion at 195 lbs. Team runner-up Twin Loup had two individual champions. Quincy Ryker was champion at 160 lbs. and Slate Micheel placed first at 220 lbs. Other area highlights included Josiah Coleman of South Loup champion at 106 lbs., Ty Greenland of Arcadia/Loup City champion at 138 lbs., and Maddox Jones of SEM was champion at 170 lbs.
