Back on Sunday July 17th the Broken Bow Spirit 14U girls softball team claimed the Nebraska USA Softball Class D state tournament championship at the softball complex in Hastings. The Spirit went through the tournament undefeated with wins over Hebron, Denton, Blue Springs, and defeated the Lincoln Sliders in the championship round. On Thursday (July 21st) Central Nebraska’s Sports Source had the opportunity to sit down and visit with “the champs”. Our interview is posted below.
