Broken Bow Sweeps Ord in Legion Baseball Doubleheader

Broken Bow traveled to Ord Tuesday evening for a juniors and seniors American Legion baseball doubleheader.  The Bow juniors collected their 18th win of the season in a game that lasted six innings.  Broken Bow led 5-1 after four innings but Ord scored five runs in fifth to take a 6-5 lead.  Bow came right back with 6 runs in the sixth and held on for an 11-7 win.  Max Denson helped lead the offense going 2 for 4 with two doubles and 4 RBI.  Eli Coble was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI and Owen Hartman also had a multi-hit game finishing 2 for 4 with one run batted in.  The Bow juniors are now 18-4 on the season.

The Bow seniors picked up their 15th win of the season shutting out Ord 13-0 in five innings.  Broken Bow put the game away in the 2nd inning when they scored 10 runs.  Eli Coble had a huge night at the plate going 4 for 4 with two triples, 3 runs scored and 4 RBI.  The Broken Bow pitching was outstanding as Caden Holm, Hagen Campbell, and Austin Harvey combined for a one hit shutout.  The Broken Bow seniors are now 15-10 on the season.
