The Nebraska Department of Transportation has said through a release to KCNI/KBBN that work will begin Monday September 11 on US-83, weather permitting.
M.E. Collins Contracting Company, Inc. of Wahoo is the contractor for the project. Work will include bridge joint repairs on the Thedford viaduct. Traffic will be maintained with lane closures and temporary traffic signals. A 14-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion for the project is October of this year.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
