Turkey dinner, soup/sandwich bar being held Sunday

Two wonderful opportunities to enjoy delicious food and show support are happening on Sunday in Anselmo and Arcadia.

The St. Anselms Catholic Church is having their annual turkey dinner at the fire hall in Anselmo from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. The hall is located one block east of the railroad tracks then one block north.

Adult meals are $12, kids 6 to 10 are $5, and kids newborn to 5 years old are free. A bazaar will be available to shop throughout the event.  The food menu includes home roasted turkey, homemade dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, salads, dinner rolls, and pie.

The Arcadia Community Center is the site of a soup and sandwich bar mid-day on Sunday, from 11:30 until 1:30.

The event, which supports upkeep of The Gathering Place, will feature three soups, sloppy joes or ham and cheese sandwiches, desserts, and beverages. Adults are $10, kids under 12 are $6, and kids under age 2 eat free. A raffle prize of canned goods will be awarded.
