CUSTER COUNTY – The Custer County Ag Society held its monthly meeting on January 12 at the Shooting Sports Building. Members not present included Marla Stallbaumer, Bonnie Winters, Shane Ryan, and Steve Horn.

The board started by approving the December 14, 2023, regular board meeting minutes and listened to committee reports from the Extension Office, 4-H Council, the Grounds Manager, and the Winter Ball Committee. From the Extension Office, beef weigh-in will be on February 3 at the Broken Bow Animal Hospital. The Grounds Manager stated that he completed repairs on one set of bleachers and is sorting the gray horse stalls and also added organization stalls in the back room of the office. The Winter Ball Committee stated that they have eight tables left to sell and multiple donations have been collected.
