BROKEN BOW — Tonight is the night for the ‘Cruise the Bow- Road’s Open Rally’ in Broken Bow, an event put on by KCNI/KBBN Radio from 5 until 8 PM.
Thursday night’s fun is intended to be a celebration of the slow disappearance of construction cones as the Highway 2 paving project comes to a close inside city limits, doubling as a celebration of the end of Summer and start of Fall.
Those participating are welcome to cruise in any street-legal vehicle and tune to 95.3 FM KBBN for cruising music while visiting participating local restaurants and businesses who have special one night only deals (listed below). Music requests can be sent via text to 308-870-0333 and as many as possible will be played.
The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce has several businesses that will have extended hours in the square after official Market on the Square hours. KBBN will also be broadcasting live from the square, handing out ‘goodies’ to those who want to stop by.
KCNI/KBBN asks that everyone participating in the cruise event obey all traffic laws and to remember to use their blinkers. Suggested turn around sites are Trotter’s on the west end of town and Full Circle Irrigation just east of Broken Bow (maps provided below).
