BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Board of Supervisors will hold its final meeting of the month tomorrow, July 25 at 9 a.m. on the top floor of the Custer County Courthouse.
The biggest item on the agenda comes from the Board of Equalizations; in addition to considering a motor vehicle exemption for the Custer County Ag Society, the BOE will continue its property valuation protest hearings at 1 p.m.
The hearings will continue into Wednesday at 9 a.m., with final decisions anticipated at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 28.
The board will also evaluate the end-of-month claims and hear the semi-annual statement from County Treasurer Bryant and the annual veterans report from the Veterans Services Committee.
Sheriff Osmond will present the certification of distress warrants, and the Custer County Historical Society will provide its update and support request.
Additionally, the board will set the value on its empty lots as it gears up to sell several parcels. As always, the meeting is open to the public, and a full agenda is attached.
