ANSELMO – The date for St. Anselm’s annual turkey dinner is officially set: the church will hold the famous feast on Sunday, November 6.
The dinner will not be held at the church proper, but rather at the Anselmo firehouse, which is one block east and one block north of the railroad tracks.
Dinner will be served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The cost for adults is $10 per person, $5 for ages 6 to 10, and those 5 and under will eat for free.
The menu will feature all homemade Thanksgiving staples: stuffing or dressing, depending on your locale, mashed and sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, all manner of pie, and of course: roasted turkey and gravy.
In addition to the meal is a market, which will help feasters find a perfect gift for the upcoming holiday season. Questions about the event can be directed to Cindy Hempstead via email.
