NORFOLK - In its ninth year, a Norfolk event is continuing to see solid growth.
Officials with the Norfolk Arts Center say that this year's Soup 'R Art fundraiser - held this past Sunday - brought in more visitors than the event ever had before. Organizers estimate around 800 people attended the event at the Lifelong Learning Center.
Attendees voted The Meadows as the local restaurant with the best soup, while Taylor's Bar and Grill was voted best dessert. Norfolk woodcarver Roger Nadrchal was selected as favorite artist for the third year in a row.
Soup 'R Art is one of the Norfolk Arts Center's largest annual fundraisers. The 2019 edition has been scheduled for January 27th.
