A short agenda will be before the Broken Bow City Council tonight (June 25) when they meet at the Municipal Building at 6 PM.
Council will first consider appointing Paul Proctor to the Broken Bow Airport Authority Board for a term that would end December 2029.
The appointment of Steven Fricke to the Broken Bow Park Board for a term ending February 2026 will be considered tonight as well.
Council will then make a decision on extending temporary authority to September 1 of this year to County Supervisor Dwain Bryner to close parking spots on the east side of the Custer County Courthouse to protect the public from construction hazards during the stair replacement project.
Tonight’s last agenda item is a decision on a temporary closing of South D Street from South 8th Avenue to South 9th Avenue on July 26 from approximately 4 PM to midnight for a Broken bow Youth Sports Club fundraiser event.
The next city council meeting is Tuesday, July 9 also at 6 PM and in the Broken Bow Municipal Building.
