Broken Bow City Council will meet tonight starting at 6 PM inside the Municipal Building on South 10th Avenue.
In new business items, council will have consideration of approving an amended application for a retail Class I liquor license for Sylvester’s Bar on East South E Street in Broken Bow. The amendment would remove the bowling alley area from the dimensions of the liquor license.
The Eagle Crest subdivision will have a change order discussed tonight, more specifically the moving of the “substantial completion” milestone date from December 31 of this year to May 1 of 2025.
Public hearings, the possible waiving of two readings, and consideration of approval for sewer and water rate increases are back on the agenda tonight after readings were waived at the November 12 City Council meeting. Proposed increases are 10% for water and 16.5% for sewer, which would result in an average monthly increase of between $11 and $14 for residents.
Rounding out tonight’s City Council agenda is the consideration of cancelling the City Council meeting scheduled for Christmas Eve as well as authorization to pay regular bills that would have been paid at such meeting.
