Seven area students qualify for UNMC’s dean’s list

OMAHA – The University of Nebraska Medical Center has announced its dean’s list for the spring semester for students enrolling in nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, and the allied health professions.

The list contains well over 100 names, and a healthy number belongs to the KCNI/KBBN listening area. To qualify for the dean’s list, nursing, and allied health students must be enrolled for 12 or more credit hours during the semester and achieve a grade point average of 3.75 or above.

Ansley’s Laney Stunkel, Broken Bow’s Kesha DeGroff, Dunning’s Kaylee Rhoades, and Pleasanton’s Adrienne Falk and Tyler Pawloski all accomplished the feat.

To qualify for the pharmacy dean’s list, students must place in the top 20 percent of their class and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Anselmo’s Jessica Spanel and Ord’s Cora Svoboda made that goal for the spring semester.
