SARGENT – Four Sargent School Board members were recalled based on unofficial results from Custer County Clerk Connie Gracey.
After gathering the required signatures in mid-September to force a vote to decide if four board members should be retained, the recall election was held.
Voting “Yes” means that voters state the school board member should be removed, and voting “No” means that voters state the school board member should be retained.
The unofficial results:
Laura Kipp, 231 Yes, 170 No, and will be removed from the office of the Board of Education of Sargent Public School.
Tammera Moody, 246 Yes, 155 No, and will be removed from the office of the Board of Education of Sargent Public School.
Loyd Pointer, 253 Yes, 147 No, and will be removed from the office of the Board of Education of Sargent Public School.
Martin Riddle, 237 Yes, 164 No, and will be removed from the office of the Board of Education of Sargent Public School.
