Sandhills Task Force Hosts Rancher’s Night Out

The Sandhills Task Force is hosting a Rancher’s Night Out on December 6, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

Area ranchers are invited to enjoy a steak dinner and cold drinks at Kinkaider Brewing Company in Broken Bow, accompanied by lively conversation with neighbors and a presentation by ranchers Tim Downing, Melanie Clark, and Tim Mason, who will share insights from their own operations.

The Sandhills Task Force is a non-profit organization focused on affecting sound environmental and economic practices in the Sandhills of Nebraska. This is accomplished using a variety of approaches, including promoting research, education, technical assistance, and on-the-ground conservation practices.

The organization serves 20,000 square-miles of Sandhills-area counties including Arthur, Blaine, Brown, Cherry, Custer, Garden, Garfield, Grant, Holt, Hooker, Lincoln, Keith, Logan, Loup, McPherson, Morrill, Rock, Sheridan, Thomas, and Wheeler Counties.

Tickets for the Rancher’s Night Out are $30, with limited seating. Tickets can be purchased at sandhillstaskforce.org or by calling Ashley at 307-351-0935.

Along with presentations and dinner, the Sandhills Task Force hopes to provide a causal chance for ranchers to connect, swap stories and share ideas during their Rancher’s Night Out at Kinkaider Brewing the evening of December 6.
