CUSTER COUNTY–The Custer County Unit of Salvation Army will hold its annual Book Bag/School Supplies Giveaway on Wednesday, August 4, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at North Park School (1135 North H Street, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
Backpacks, and school supplies will be distributed, drive-thru style, to school-age children from Custer County whose families otherwise may not be able to cover the back-to-school expenses.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and all items will be distributed while supplies last. Distribution will not begin until 4 p.m.
Please drive up and stay in your cars during distribution. This event is made possible by the Custer County Unit of Salvation Army and donations from the community.
