The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced that work will begin on Monday, May 5 on Highway 183 near Westerville, weather permitting.
The project, anticipated to be completed by June, will be from mile markers 99 to 106. General Excavating of Lincoln is the contractor for the project which will include bridge repair and asphalt overlays on three bridges.
Lane restrictions and temporary traffic signals will help maintain traffic. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
