BROKEN BOW, NE – Senator and former Governor Pete Ricketts and District 43 Legislature candidate Tanya Storer held a “Get Out the Vote” rally in Broken Bow on Monday evening at the One Box Convention Center.

Ricketts, who was appointed to his current seat by Governor Jim Pillen after the vacancy left by Ben Sasse, gave three main reasons for his running to keep the position: Taking Nebraska solutions to Washington DC, fixing broken government, and protecting the American people.

Following his comments on his own work and campaign points, Ricketts introduced Tanya Storer, who he has endorsed in the race against Tony Tangwall to represent District 43 in the Legislature.

Storer thanked Ricketts for the introduction and pointed to several instances where their paths crossed in the past. She stated her goals for those in attendance.
