A Regional business which offers crop protection, seed, fertilizer, custom application, precision technology and agronomic consultation to producers in Nebraska, Kansas and surrounding areas has added a new location in Callaway.
On Monday, the Callaway Chamber of Commerce welcomed Norder Supply Inc to the community with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony and open house. The previous Progressive Fertilizer location welcomed new location manager Tanner Lubben.
Lubben said he’s been with Norder Supply for 13 years, managing their home location in Bruning for 6 years, before managing their Maywood location for 6 years. He said Callaway is very similar to the other locations he’s been at.
“Small town, small feel, that’s part of the reason why Norder Supply was attracted to this, and attracted to Callaway. Being a family-owned business ourselves, we wanted to buy out a family business like Progressive Fertilizer. Keeping that family feel and the family business in a small community in hiring folks like what we have maintains that family business.”
Norder purchased Progressive Fertilizer in September 2023. Lubben and his significant other live in Gothenburg and are raising six children. He said having employees that have kids is extremely important to how they operate as a company, and allowing them to spend time with their families when they can is very important to them.
