A Red Flag Warning is in effect today from 1pm until 8pm CDT for portions of southwest, central, and north central Nebraska. The combinations of low relative humidity values, as low as 12% and south winds 10 to 20 mph gusting up to 30 mph will lead to critical fire weather conditions.
A Fire Weather Watch will go in effect at 1pm CDT Thursday until 9pm for portions of north central, central, and southwest Nebraska. The combination of low relative humidity values from 12 to 20% and strong south winds 20 to 30 mph gusting up to 45 mph may lead to critical fire weather conditions.
