The Custer County Supervisors will meet in regular session on Tuesday, December 30 at 9:00 AM. The supervisors meet in the Custer County Courthouse in the meeting room on the top floor. The Supervisors meeting was delayed a week from its normal meeting time due to the Christmas holiday.
The Custer County Recycling Center is on the agenda for the Supervisor’s meeting. Custer County Recycling Manager Kelly Flynn will provide a report on Center funding. A broader discussion of the future of the Recycling Center is expected to follow.
As has been previously reported, some supervisors are pushing to have the recycling center closed as soon as possible, as a means of saving money for the county. The county would still be liable for rent on the building housing the Center for at least another two years.
Other regular business will also be considered by the Supervisors, including hearing from insurance provider Benefit Management on Health Savings and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HSA, HRA), and from Emergency Manager Mark Rempe on the Local Emergency Operations Plan for the area.
The full Agenda as provided to KCNI/KBBN is found below.
