The Broken Bow American Legion and VFW are inviting the public to participate in Memorial Day activities on Thursday and Monday.
A long-standing tradition of placing American flags on the gravesites of veterans will continue tonight (Thursday) at the Broken Bow cemetery. Anyone who would like to assist in the project are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 PM to help. Maps and flags will be handed out to groups to canvas the cemetery.
Memorial Day morning, the annual service at the Broken Bow cemetery is scheduled for 10 AM. The public is encouraged to attend.
