The Custer County Ag Society, via press release, is informing the public of a special meeting notice for Sunday, September 22nd. Starting at 4:00 PM at the 4-H building on the east end of the Custer County Fairgrounds, a joint meeting will take place.
The press release indicates that the meeting will be with Custer County 4-H Council, Custer County 4-H Club Leaders, livestock superintendents, and livestock committee members. The intent is to achieve greater communication and partnership between the groups that serve the youth of Custer County 4-H.
Public comment will be an important part of Sunday’s meeting, with rules outlined in the Nebraska Open Meetings Act in effect. The lone “new business” discussion/decision item is the outlining of procedures and expectations of all involved groups for the benefit of the 4-H members of Custer County.
