Josh Osterhoudt celebrated the expansion of his business, Prairie Surveillance and PC Repair, to a full-time concern on Thursday afternoon along with the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce.
Osterhoudt was presented with a Chamber Grow Award in a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to recognize the work he has done in expanding his business. With Prairie Surveillance and PC Repair, Osterhoudt provides business and residential security cameras, as well as home security panel systems. Osterhoudt also services Windows-based personal computers, along with network setup and troubleshooting.
On top of this, Osterhoudt can make house-calls to provide these services in a 50-60 mile radius of Broken Bow.

Osterhoudt estimates he has been working in IT and security for around 10 years, with Prairie Surveillance and PC Repair operating part-time for the past 2 years.
“I was doing it on the side from my initial 9 to 5,” said Osterhoudt. “But I’m no longer doing the 9 to 5, so I decided to go all in with the business. Now I’m able to just focus on the business only, and yeah, nothing but forwards!”
With the ability to focus his full time and attention on the surveillance business, Osterhoudt is now looking to expand, with the hope that he can help more people with thier security and computer needs.
Prairie Surveillance and PC Repair is located at 914 South D Street, Suite 1 in Broken Bow. Osterhoudt can be contacted at 308-251-6826.
