BROKEN BOW – A power outage is planned for Broken Bow on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
The outage will not affect the entirety of the city, only the residences between 105-152 South F and 105-205 South G Streets. The outage is expected to last all morning into early afternoon, from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
According to the Custer County Electric Superintendent Blake Waldow, the outage is related to repairs suffered at the hands of the recent July storm; lineman will be in the area replacing a transformer pole that was damaged by a felled tree earlier this summer.
A map of the affected area is attached.
