Two longtime therapists with Pearson Physical Therapy in Broken Bow are now the new co-owners of the business.

After 14 years of helping patients of Broken Bow and Custer County, Becky Pearson has handed over the business to Andrew Mason, PT and Errin Nelson, PT.

Mason was on the Breakfast Show last week and said it was an easy choice for him and Nelson to take over the business.

“I think in therapy, with anything else, it’s a service oriented kind of a business. The main thing is about the people that are coming to you and their needs and so you figure out, even though you’re busy, you want to make sure you’re still doing other things that need to get done, and we’re pretty lucky to have a great crew that understands that and makes it easy for us” said Mason.

Mason told us he enjoys getting to know his patients a little better as he treats their physical needs.

“Sometimes it’s serious stuff and sometimes it’s just chatting about family and what’s going on. At least a couple times a week somebody giggles after we talk a little bit and they go ‘I’m not going to get charged for some therapy too?’ and I go well, we don’t have a charge for that yet but maybe we’ll have to come up with one.”

Mason said their patients won’t notice any difference in how they’re treated and level of care when they come to their appointments.

Pearson said on her Facebook page “I want to thank everyone who supported us throughout the years, by referring patients, and sending family and friends who needed a caring, helping hand to get back to doing what they love.”
