Arcadia’s 70th Annual Fall Festival will begin Saturday morning and continue through Monday. Organizers and volunteers have scheduled plenty of family fun each day.
One of the festival’s highlights will be the Arcadia Huskie Wall of Fame induction on Saturday, August 31st, at 7:00 p.m. in the new gym at Arcadia Public School.
Paula Johnson will be this year’s new inductee. The event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend as Arcadia welcomes Paula to the Wall of Fame. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
The first class of the Arcadia Huskie Wall of Fame was inducted in 2007 and consists of outstanding attendees of Arcadia Public School, teachers, and athletes/teams.
Arcadia’s Rolland Sell was one of KCNI/KBBN’s many guests during the Thursday morning edition of the “Get Up And Go Breakfast Show and stated Paula Johnson certainly deserved the honor to be inducted into the Wall of Fame.
Nominations for 2025 may be made by anyone and a Selection Committee has the task of making the final selection based on the qualifications submitted.
