Ollie’s Coffee and Boutique Brings Community Together for Friendsgiving

Turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and stuffing – the Thanksgiving favorites – are all on the menu when Ollie’s Coffee and Boutique hosts a “Friendsgiving” dinner on Friday, November 21.

The free community meal is planned for 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the Broken Bow Municipal Building.

Ollie’s owner Beth Ottun told KCNI/KBBN this was a way for the Ollie’s team to give something back to the community.

“Some of our team members thought hey, why don’t we do a free Thanksgiving meal?” said Ottun. “And we could ask for some donations and support and we could just look into seeing if that would be fasible. So we kind of thought more about it and decided to call it a Friendsgiving. The community is invited; it’s free and open to anybody that wants to attend.”
