LINCOLN – Currency and the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) are proud to announce the 2025-26 Believers & Achievers. Believers & Achievers is a statewide program designed to give recognition to Nebraska’s future leaders.
Local students Camryn Yilk of Cozad, Hayden Nelson of Sargent, and Shayleigh Coleman of Anselmo-Merna are among the 48 Nebraska high school seniors selected to be honored as Believers & Achievers.
Beginning in November and continuing through April each of the selected Believers & Achievers will be recognized at NSAA State Championships, and on a poster sent to all NSAA member schools.
From those 48 statewide winners, eight will receive $1,000 scholarships from Currency to use for the college or university of their choice at a scholarship banquet to be held in April of 2026.
All the students nominated for the Believers & Achievers awards program represent the very best of Nebraska’s high schools and are considered local school winners.
Students receiving Currency Believers & Achievers Awards recognition are required to maintain a 3.5 GPA, participate in NSAA sanctioned activities, be involved in school and community organizations and programs, and submit a citizenship essay. Nominees are submitted by the school superintendent, high school principal, athletic director or guidance counselor.
A complete list of the local school winners for the 2025-26 activities year and more information about the Currency Believers & Achievers Awards Program is available on the NSAA website.
