NORFOLK - A Norfolk man is in jail after authorities say he backed up traffic for over a block by walking in the middle of the road. Norfolk Police say 19-year old Moses Roemhildt was arrested Tuesday morning. Police were called to the 800 block of Pasewalk Avenue to a call of someone walking in the westbound lanes of traffic. Police say the situation was dangerous...because the rain at the time made Roemhildt difficult to see. Officers say traffic was backed up for over a block behind him. Officers say Roemhildt eventually moved on to South 13th Street where he continued to walk down the middle of the road...refusing officers' orders to move to the sidewalk. He was eventually arrested and charged with obstruction of an officer.
