No-Till will Host Conference in Broken Bow on June 13

BROKEN BOW- On Thursday, June 13, No-till on the Plains will host a grazing workshop at the One Box Convention Center in Broken Bow. 

No-till on the Plains is a non-profit organization from Kansas that provides education and information for producers to adopt high-quality continuous no-till systems. Each year No-till on the Plains hosts educational conferences and workshops with the goal to make farmers and ranchers more profitable, while improving their soil resource. 

The grazing conference at the One Box Convention Center will begin at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:30. Walk-in registration costs $40. 

The conference will feature Logan Pribbeno with Grazing Cropland to Build Rangeland Health, Kevin Sedivec with The Role of Forbs in Native Rangeland Health, Jeff Nichols with NRCS Practices on Grazing Lands, and Matt McGinn with Wildfire and Rangeland Recovery. 

Lunch will conclude the morning session before attendees make their way to field sites of annual seeded crops as well as native rangeland.
