Work originally scheduled for June 16 will now begin on Monday, July 7 on Highway 2 between Broken Bow and Merna, weather permitting.
Work will include milling, asphalt overlay, shoulder construction and seeding. Flaggers and a pilot car will maintain traffic, with a 12 foot width restriction in place. Completion for the project is anticipated for September. Paulsen Inc. of Cozad is the contractor.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
