New CEO at Jennie M. Melham Medical Center

The Jennie M. Melham Medical Center Board of Directors recently announced that they had filled the Chief Executive Officer vacancy.  Kyle Kellum began his duties as CEO for the Broken Bow hospital on Monday, August 14th. Mr. Kellum had been CEO for the Cherry County Hospital and Clinics, a 21-bed, independent critical access hospital in Valentine, Nebraska. Kellum earned his Masters of Healthcare Administration degree from Des Moines University and is also a graduate of the first NRHA Rural Hospital CEO Certification Program in February 2020. Prior to this announcement, Stephanie Bolt had been the Interim CEO since the resignation of Jeremy Clingenpeel in January of this year.

Kellum and his wife, Traci, have enjoyed 22 years of marriage and have two children.  Kailee, their daughter, is attending college this fall and their 16-year old son, Kanzas, is attending Broken Bow Public Schools.
